Founded in 1969 within NTU's School of Art & Design, Bonington Gallery is a free public gallery with a strong reputation for contemporary art, having shown work by the likes of Steve McQueen, Frank Stella and Hetain Patel. Its rolling programme of exhibitions, talks and film nights is completely free and open to all. A compact, central spot ideal for art lovers and a quick cultural fix in the city centre.
