Colwick Country Park stretches along the River Trent next to Nottingham Racecourse, offering two lakes and miles of trails for an easy escape to nature close to the city. The West Lake supports sailing, canoeing and an adventure centre, while both lakes and the river are well known for coarse and trout fishing, and there is open-water swimming on offer. Entry to the park is free, making it ideal for families, anglers, walkers and active visitors; activity sessions and fishing tickets are arranged on site.
